Understanding how systemic discrimination threatens fairness and morale in both overt and subtle ways is critical to such initiatives. This ground-breaking, trauma-informed training process will develop key leadership knowledge and skills to support workplace inclusion and equity, as outlined in the bestselling book.

You will Learn:

  • Leadership competencies for inclusion leaders with a focus on emotional literacy, including skill development in self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy and relationship management;
  • How unconscious bias results in mistreatment of people of minority groups in organizations and the importance of developing bias detection and reduction skills;
  • How to apply the Deep Diversity® framework to help uncover systemic discrimination patterns within organizations with regards to race/ethnicity specifically and social identity broadly;

  • Module 2. Emotional Intelligence and Equity Principles
  • Module 3. Managing Identity and In-group bias 
  • Module 4. Addressing Personal and Systemic Power

This is one of four courses included in the Leadership for Troubled Times Certificate. The others include Psychological Safety, Navigating Polarization and Facilitating Dialogue.


Online Self-Directed Course

Format: Four online videos along with accompanying resources (available on our learning management system).  
Assessment: There is an online assessment at the end of this course which will give you an individual course certificate.
Length: Each video = ~45min. with additional handouts provided

Fee: $95 USD inclusive.
Leadership certificate provided upon completion of all four courses.
