This course equips you with a prevention mindset to help navigate organizational crises and identity dynamics, while nurturing workplace wellbeing. Learn to anticipate, de-escalate, and draw boundaries when conflicts arise. Discover how to balance competing factors—including the psychological safety of your team, organizational values, and stakeholder needs—while identifying key questions for effective leadership in day-to-day management as well as crisis response.

You will Learn:

  • To explore what psychological safety means and how to cultivate it through preventative workplace practices and processes; 
  • To understand the role of trauma, mental health and identity in the workplace and how to establish an emotionally healthy team baseline for all; 
  • To understand the power and value of inclusion data in fortifying teams and addressing gaps.

This is one of four courses included in the Leadership for Troubled Times Certificate.  The others include Navigating Polarization, Facilitating Dialogue and Deep Diversity (self-directed).
