Welcome to the Anima Leadership: Focus Group selection page!
You are invited to participate in a focus group designed to gather your perspectives and enhance understanding of the employee experience at George Brown Polytechnic. This initiative aims to gather valuable insights into Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigenization, as well as the broader employee lifecycle, which will inform future decision-making at the Polytechnic.
Key Information
The Focus Group is open to Employees of All Identities and will take place on November 25th at 11 am
- Sessions typically last 90 minutes.
- Anima Leadership team members facilitate sessions.
- If we receive more interest than there are available spaces, we will keep a waitlist and follow up should someone cancel.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Sessions will be recorded to ensure accurate record-keeping, but these recordings will only be accessible to the Anima Leadership team and will be deleted upon completion of the project. Data from these sessions will be reported in aggregate form only, with no identifying personal/employee information.

Will my participation in the Focus Groups be kept confidential? (click arrow to open)
Yes, participant identities will be kept confidential. While the sessions will be recorded, this is for note-taking purposes only. Additionally, only Anima Leadership team members will be present during the focus groups and will have access to the recording afterwards. Upon completion of the project, all video and audio files will be deleted.
During the session, Anima facilitators will review guidelines with participants, which include reviewing the expectation that participants keep contributions to the focus group confidential and non-attributable.
During reporting, focus group data will be presented in aggregate form, with no personal identifying information included.
