Authentic Leadership:
From Burnout to Balance

Hollyhock Retreat Centre, Cortes Island, BC Oct. 26-30
Sponsored by Anima Leadership and the Centre for Social Innovation

Too much work and not enough time? Finding yourself tired, stressed, and not able to keep up with the demands of your job? Often one of the first things to go when things get busy at work is self-care - sacrificing our own health, happiness and equanimity in the interest of making a difference through our work.

Set at the internationally renowned Hollyhock Learning Centre on Cortes Island, "From Burnout to Balance" is about cultivating inner wisdom, developing skills and practices to sharpen leadership, and sustain your leadership over the long term. Your effectiveness as a leader has a direct relationship to your contribution to the team you are part of or manage, as well as your impact on social change. You will leave this 4-day course feeling greatly enriched and coming from a place of vibrancy, wisdom, health and joy.

Learning modules are based on the Anima model of leadership through relationship and include::

  • Relationship to Self: Deep Listening; Emotional Intelligence; Energy Management
  • Relationship to Others: Triggers, Centering and Transforming Conflict
  • Relationship to our Work: Grounding in Purpose; Leading with Vision; Cultivating Vibrant and Healthy Organizations

This course is led by Annahid Dashtgard, co-founder of Anima Leadership, an internationally recognized leadership training and consulting company offering innovative solutions for inclusive, productive worklaces and communities.
